Formula 1 and covid-19

21-01-2021

The 2021 season is under threat due to the still ongoing pandemic

F1 has recently presented the 2021 seasonschedule. it did not take long before the first circuits were canceled. The season opener that would take place in Melbourne has already been canceled, so we fans now have to wait 14 days longer, until the new season.

After melbourne there are now several circuits that are not yet sure whether they can organize a Grand Prix due to Covid-19. Same as last year the fans can't go to the circuits and because of this some organization are missing out on a lot of money, which they badly need to organize an F1 weekend. But on the other hand there are a few new circuits that would like to organize a grandprix without an audience. Like last year circuits like Portimoa or Nurburgring have shown intrest.

Last season the F1 and al of his workers have shown that they can do wonderful work. There where strict rules set up and they created a ''bubble''. Fortunately, many people have adhered to these rules, which means that there have not been many corona cases in the F1 bubble.

If F1 continues its work like in 2020, we don't have to worry that the season will be stopped. Since a vaccine has been developed in the meantime and is fully deployed, the 2021 season will be '' Normal ''!
